Finish, Stash, Progress!!!

Happy Ground Hog Day! Seems as though our little fellow had a difficult time making up his mind today. The sun has been in and out all day ! I mention this only to give you fair warning that this situation also made it difficult to take any decent pictures. I'm starting out with a finish. Here is my With Thy Needle and Thread February Word Play piece. I stitched it with the called for fibers on 35 count Abecedarian. I just need to add the rusty pins to the tails.

Love hearing the bells when we open and close the door!

Last week I stopped into The Inspired Needle to pick up some stash that Cathy put aside for me.

I really look forward each year to finding out what color the new Shepherd's Bush snowman will be. I'm really excited about this year's version because of the dark fabric. I think that Poor Robin's Pin Cushion is just adorable. My only dilemma is what to start first!!! LOL ! These came with me, as well:

My friend Karin is stitching this piece and it is just beautiful!

Many of my stitching buddies are stitching Country Cottages Needleworks Cottage of the Month series. When the Attic Needlework & Collectibles did a silk conversion kit, I was hooked. These came in the mail yesterday:

Now I know that my blog title includes the word "progress", however the light is just not cooperating with me today. I just can't get a good picture of my Plum Street Sampler's, Colonial Garden piece. I'm in the process of  finishing it and was really anxious to share it with you. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good picture soon. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekI. Thanks for letting me share my stitching with you!
