A Blooming Garden

Couldn't wait to show you my A Colonial Garden piece that I picked up today. It's such a gorgeous day today in Illinois that I decided to photograph it outside.

A Colonial Garden
Plum Street Samplers
R&R 18th Century Blackbird fabric
Called for Needlepoint Silks

I'm so happy with the frame that Cathy suggested. It's just so appropriate for this piece. I also love how she stretched it over black foam core so that the fabric would show up better.

Thanks for visiting "my garden" on this beautiful Spring Day!
Linda

  8. I really like this. I usually don't like orange, but this looks so crisp and springy. Nice finishing on it, too.
